My first impression of wrestling was that it's pretty brutal. But I really liked the fact that it's a one-on-one contest, and I decided to stick with it.

I totally changed my style and became a better all-around wrestler last year. I relied heavily on takedowns and I began working in a lot of different moves. It wasn't like my sophomore year when I would either pin my opponent or lose.

I know that every match has the potential of being my last one, so I'm getting after it and giving wrestling everything I've got. I'm definitely not taking anything for granted this year.

Pretty much all we do on the ride is talk wrestling. We'll call each other and check our weights when we aren't together.
