My eyes will crack your bones. My words will shred your skin. My touch will lay waste to your soul.

I am a manifestation of misery and torment with veins pumping agony. I am the darkness that makes blossoms of hope wilt away.

The ominous feeling of seeing me behind you will render you useless. You'll hear me in the wind. Quietly following you hidden in the trees. You will forget your name by your anxious thoughts. I will be out for your blood.

When it is time for us to go into the world, we are choked by it. The world drowns with failure. Failure finds us all and tests our strength, or hangs us by the neck

We smile with pain in our hearts. We walk with blisters on our feet. We think scarred with the memories of our past. We slowly waste away each day as we live in this world so wounded.

I don't know where my hope has gone. I must find my light in a new dawn. I believe in my heart I can count on, to keep the promises that I have withdrawn.
