Mota can handle that setup role (in the bullpen). If he's healthy, he can do it. He has a good arm. He pitched good against us last year.

His rubber arm is getting a little rubber. He's new in the role. I think he can use a break, but I'll pitch him two innings [on Friday].

It'll be partly who can handle the bullpen and partly who can be out of the mix and get it back quick once he gets back in the mix.

I don't know what other bullpen is better in the major leagues. I really don't. We have four setup guys and one of the best closers in baseball. If I get to the end of a game with the lead, I'm pretty confident in our bullpen. That's the strength of our team.

I like long balls. That's the quickest way to get on the good side of a manager.

He got off to a real good start and hit a bad spell where he was fatigued. Once he got through that, he's been pretty good.
