Most enlightened men now recognize that General Jackson is not fitted to fill the office of President; his limited experience of anything to do with civil government and his great age make him incompetent.

In this day and age, there is no public official or government office that wants to get caught in the situation that, following a terrorists attack, it is found out that they didn't tell folks they were supposed to tell about it. So what we have is a flood of information. Every little scrap of into that suggests there might be a threat is put out there and I think that is a mistake.
