More than anything, our team defense hasn't played up to potential.

That has a lot of potential because, at this point, it's largely undeveloped.

We really came out ready — they just did a good job on defense.

I think we've played as well as we've played all year tonight. We definitely wanted the two points in regulation, but at least we wound up with them anyway.

For instance, in previous years, you could bear-hug players up in front of the net looking for rebounds [without getting penalized]. You can't do that now so we have to be athletic to make second and third saves.

That has to unprecedented in all of professional sports. Maybe I'll try to sprain three of them the next time.
