Maybe in juniors, but not in ladies' play. It was a little intense, but I'll take it. It was a struggle, though we started out well. But we managed to pull it out at the end and that's what our team's all about.

Every single game we've had has been a close one. But I found we were more relaxed today. We were getting sick of losing. It's stressful being on the verge of being out, so we just decided to go out and have fun.

With the age thing, it's kind of fun. And we bug Lorraine every now and then, but they also bug me because I'm the baby on the team. It's all in fun. We're all good with it (but) when Lorraine started curling, I wasn't even alive yet.

We started slow, but we once we started to play Michigan Tech volleyball everything started to work out. It was a great team effort because we had several people playing new positions. The girls stepped up to the challenge and I am very proud of the way they were able to earn a win on a very difficult road trip.

I just told them if they played Michigan Tech volleyball and played the way they play every day in practice, that they'd take this to five. If we play Michigan Tech volleyball, there's not a lot of teams that can compete with us ... it's just learning that lesson.
