Matt sets a great example with the way he comes to practice every day and plays through pain. It's to the point now that he can barely walk after games. We're all amazed and impressed by his dedication and determination.

They came at us with a lot of defensive energy and we didn't match or surpass it.

Having Matt come back for the Army game meant so much to the rest of us. To see how much Matt cares about Navy basketball and how badly he wants to be there for the team ... it's just very uplifting.

I've been focusing more on the defensive side of my game and that's making me more confident on offense.

It's an incentive to try a practice. For example with chicken litter, you try it one time and if you like it then you're on your own next time.

A good example is Mexico in the mid 90's. It tried to do a moderate devaluation, but the market didn't accept it. It lost control of the currency, there was a dramatic devaluation, and a subsequent recession -- even a depression in Mexico.
