Marquette-Louisville has always been that way. We have played each other tough and battled. We had to beat them twice.

We've never been a Top 20 team, at least not yet. Don't get carried away with beating Louisville. Any win in the Big East is great, but I wouldn't use it as a barometer.

You've just got to gut it out. It's going to be a tough year.

They are tough, they get after you. They have quick hands and are hard-nosed. They drive so much and draw fouls. I am impressed with them. They have the toughness to compete in the Big East. They are tough guys.

We've got to stop Gray inside. Padgett really played well against him and Brian and Terrance aren't the offensive threat David is, so we're going to have to get a good game out of Palacios and our two centers just to contain Gray.

It's been tough for Fred this year because of the thumb; he's been in and out of it. He played great in the first two games, and I wanted to give him the opportunity to start and play a real significant stretch of minutes. We struggled to get him the ball (Saturday). I have to do a better job of putting him in a position where he can attack the basket and make plays. He wasn't able to do that, that's his game.
