Marissa Velez had a big game and Kari was just dynamite and a solid leader. Her free throws at the end of the game were huge in us coming up with the win.

They made their free throws. That's the big game-breaker.

The big thing was they were averaging 26 free throws a game and we held them to 15. That helped us a lot. I thought the contact was there at both ends of the court. You try to adjust to how the game is being called.

In big games, we'll need those free throws, so that's what we've been working on.

I think we made just enough (free throws) to keep our cushion.

I've never really struggled so much with free throws before. But I knew if I got in the game and got fouled I just had to concentrate.
