Many people think we already do it that way. If we make the change, some of the schools will be bumped up and Hurley could be one of those.

We had a positive experience there in 2004 and believe that it will be a memorable experience for the teams and their fans this year and for the next two years.

I'm not afraid to go a long ways out of the box if I have to. I challenge people to find a way to improve the game and to come up with new ideas. But we need to get it from coaches from all over the state. What are they thinking? What do they want to do?

Verona wanted to stay and the league wanted Verona to stay. That should put to rest any talk about it moving into the Big Eight Conference. But I don't want to have to deal with this for at least another five years.

Everyone thought this would be the least disruptive move. McFarland was agreeable to that.
