Mallory did very well. She went to camps this summer and worked at it. She'll continue to do better now that she can work on it at practice.

We entered her in the 800 but we didn't have anyone in the mile and she stepped up and said she's run it. She came in second. It was a pleasant surprise.

She didn't have anyone pushing her, but because she was able to pass people, it kept her going. I never expected that kind of time out of her.

I love that feeling of just finishing a workout and knowing I'm taking care of my body. It is such a good feeling.
