Madisonville is a great team. They have great players and play well together.

We just had a lot of miscues early. We've had a lot of issues and we've lost some players. It's been a rough start to the season. I think it was just a case of us getting cues and figuring out where to go. Once we did that, we were OK.

In the second game we made some adjustments to try and go wide to keep the ball away from Tree. She was in the middle and we wanted to go outside and go to quicker sets. That helped a lot.

If you give it good concentration, good energy, good heart and good performance, the song will play you.

We knew we had to come out strong against them. We couldn't play scared. We were completely focused and completely fired up.

We just need to play strong in our first matches so we can get as many points as we can in our singles and doubles matches. If we do that, we'll be doing pretty good.
