Lots of times people try and quit because they didn't have time. You probably can't jump in and play an hour a day.

You just want to play enough so you feel you're improving. A half an hour every other day is better than nothing.

For instrumentalists especially, you need a group to play with. That will help you keep playing.

We'll definitely improve with more experience. You can't play your best tennis all the time. The only way to improve is to learn to play with what you've got that day.

The more you play with people, the more chances you're willing to take. It's an organic thing, how the songs are born. We play something and everyone starts adding to it. It's an intuitive process.
