Look folks, we know who built this country and we know who is going to rebuild it. It's you. Instead of vilifying you, we should be thanking you. We owe you.

No nation should stoke instability in its neighbor's country.

You are one of the best witnesses, I think, that has come before this committee. You've convinced folks who share Senator Brownback's view that you're going to be just right for them and you've convinced folks that share Senator Kennedy's view that you're just right for them,

I'm not big on flak jackets and tie-dyed shirts. You know, that's not me.

It's presumptuous to say you know how somebody feels.

Unions did in fact build the middle class. And here's what that did. That built the United States of America as we know it.
