Light rail has given Salt Lake City a new kind of ambience. It feels like a real city.

Honestly, it feels much more diluted than Salt Lake. Almost like it's a big city that is hosting the Olympics, but it's almost an afterthought.

It's important that everyone feels they have a role on this team. They told me in 2002 (in Salt Lake City) I would play at least one game and I was really excited. Just to have that chance ... and hopefully these guys will feel the same way, that they'll play one game or two.

I tried to get them to book a flight into Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and they just said, 'There are no flights,'

I played with Joey Mullen back in Salt Lake City before he got called up to St. Louis. He was the first player ever to score 20 goals in the American League and 20 in the NHL. I've kept in contact with him and he's a great guy.

It's time for Salt Lake City to have another major league team.
