Light is prettiest in the dark.

I think we each have a certain number of unnecessary apologies, which we willingly dish out before we realize it's time to stand and fight. I may still have two or three left.

This means, in a way, that true light is dependent on the presence of other lights. Take the others away and darkness results. Yet the reverse is not true: take away darkness and there is only more darkness. Darkness can exist by itself. Light cannot.

It’s not the light that’s attracting me, but the darkness that’s driving me on.

Take comfort in the knowledge that you are different, even from the different ones.
