Late in the hearing obviously there are some quite, what we will call disparaging, comments against our trainer Tony that we want to look at in serious detail,

The decision to commence blasting in this specific quadrant two weeks before the hearing seems intended to carry out as much irreversible demolition of protected resources as possible before the Court can consider the merits. This decision is also fiscally irresponsible . . . as the cost of undertaking this activity will be completely wasted in the event the plaintiffs prevail in this litigation.

Mr. Chairman, let us not railroad this hearing.

The hearing will go through the lunch hour and through the dinner hour if necessary and the judge gets really angry if you can't settle so there's a lot of pressure to reach an agreement. A magistrate judge will beat you to death to settle.

If you are confirmed, you will essentially disappear from public view. This hearing will, in some ways, be the last time that the nation will see you at work.

So, we will have a hearing officer who hears what we'd refer to as appeals of the traffic ticket. So that if you have those kind of questions, they can be meted out so that we're sure we made the right decision.
