Labour wants Malta to defend its interests without any interference

Solidarity, had to be meaningful and not just a word. Malta would keep insisting that it should be helped and would raise its voice if necessary. We are good but not gullible. We are ready to help but we have to be helped as well

Italy issued its asylum seekers with temporary travel documents, so they travel upwards. France refused them and so did Germany, because they took unilateral stands not to apply the rules. So Malta shouldn’t be wary about taking a strong attitude in favour of the national interest. The national interests comes first and before anything else

I do not agree with the Nevada type of divorce, where you get it with e-mail, but with divorce legislation that safeguards the interest of children

Government must make the public transport affordable for the user for it to be a success. Increasing costs in private cars to force people to resort to the public transport is not a sustainable move.

By voting for Gonzi you are voting for another five years of BWSC, another five years of water and electricity bills, and another five years of a government promising one thing and doing another!
