Kids now are smarter than we were. They want the facts. They want to know what's happening. That's why being open and honest with them is so important.

I'm more interested in arousing enthusiasm in kids than in teaching the facts. The facts may change, but that enthusiasm for exploring the world will remain with them the rest of their lives.

Facts can be turned into art if one is artful enough.

You cannot fabricate facts about elected officials.

It says a lot about our kids. That's two weeks in a row where it's down to the last second and you've got to get it done.
