Kids need as much help as we possibly can give at the lower levels to maybe deter some of the problems that we're having at the higher levels.

If you see this happening, please raise your hand and say something about it. It's very scary and it's very painful to watch when you see these kids going through all this. So talk to whomever you need to and do whatever you can to get involved.

Young people are being misled by certain people that are really not teachers. (The athletes) are really not taught to stay within themselves. They're taught to try to emulate someone else and do something outside of who you are. And that's exactly what the drug does; the drug makes you feel like you're someone other than who you are.

I knew I had to help my team in any way possible. They just wanted me to be energetic, and that's what I tried to do.

I challenged the kids to come out of halftime with a defensive stand. Holding them to two points in the third is what put away the game for us.

We wanted to come over here and show we can play without our leader — Bobby. We wanted the kids to step up, make plays and do a good job.
