Kevin Garnett was a great player, but he wasn't Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant is my favorite basketball player. He takes risks. He goes for the shot. He isn't cautious with whatever he does.

Damon is an experienced veteran and proven leader on the court. We feel we have added a significant player to our team and know that he will help take us to a different level than where we are today.

You need lofty goals. Then cement it with a great work ethic.

I don't want to be the next Michael Jordan, I only want to be Kobe Bryant.

I don't know anything else but the Lakers. This has certainly been more than a job for me as a player. It has certainly meant more to me than just an occupation.
