Katrina was so long ago for so many people. Even if we only raise $100, it raises awareness. Relief takes years and months, not weeks and days. Hopefully it will be a moral victory.

I am a very lucky guy. I can testify before Congress. I can raise funds. I can raise awareness.

We're going to do whatever it takes. We'll do whatever those people ask from us.

But the important thing about this party is to raise awareness of how many different solutions are out there to alleviate and abate this global climate change.

It takes a village to raise a child.

It's not your first consideration, what my raises are going to look like. But once you realize, as a faculty member, that your pay is going to be quite stagnant, that the full professor down the hall is only earning sometimes less than you are, the writing is on the wall.
