Just because you can't see something, like oxygen, doesn't mean it isn't there. If you don't see your value it doesn't mean you have none. You are vital and treasured and crucial to others. You are their oxygen.

Self-esteem requires being better than someone else. Self-value requires being better than yourself.

You are worth sticking up for. You do not need to subvert your feelings so others do not feel bad or think ill of you. You should not worry about rocking the boat. Rock it! Turn it over if you need to. You should be your first priority. Draw boundaries and have the strength to not worry what others may think of them. Know that they are right for you and yours - that is all that matters.

Value yourself first and only then you can learn to value others.
