Just because Common Cause ... doesn't like our conclusions, that doesn't mean our conclusions are illegitimate. I think Common Cause is trying to raise an issue because it's trying to raise money.

We disclose our funding, Common Cause does not. So it's rather ironic that we would be attacked on that basis. But at the end of the day, just because Common Cause doesn't agree with the way we seek grant funding, that doesn't make advocacy illegitimate. Nor does it make theirs legitimate, their attack legitimate.

At this point, we haven't drawn any conclusions with respect to cause of death.

You think we're fragile mentally? I don't think so at all. I mean we've got a good team and if you think we're fragile that's from you all's perspective. But we've got a good team, and we're going to fight on the road.

Just because it's common sense, doesn't mean it's common practice.

Regardless of what this document is, why is the E.P.A. ignoring its well-reasoned conclusions? And what does this say about the ability of the E.P.A. to compel G.E. to do anything?
