Japan and America can learn a lot from each other. Japan values privacy, and America values intervention. The problem is that they are both blind. You must learn to help people silently to respect their privacy and worth as person.

Knowledge without the wisdom to use it is useless. However, that same wisdom is powerless without the will to enact it.

You can't become smarter by wanting to be smart, you can't become faster by wanting to be fast, and you can't become stronger by wanting to be strong. True strength comes from knowing you are weak.

To be sure sometimes we differ, ... but the point is not that one society values privacy more than the other ... but the application of those values.

To be set ablaze by infernal backfire. That is the fate of those who don't think about their choices. To die standing oblivious by an omnidirectional vortex. That is the fate of those who are too weak to make a choice. To fall endlessly into the empty abyss. That is the fate of those who foolishly believe that all of their choices are the best ones.

No matter my own folly, I will go foward and grow stronger, for even if my failure has been foreseen, that same failure has not yet been foretold.
