Jake had some of the most powerful runs I've seen him do. Early, he wasn't hitting the hole and I pulled him aside. The next play, he made a huge run n the kid was challenged and answered it.

She struggled. She started good, but then she put on these wool gloves and got a rash. Her hands turned raw. We had to tape her hands up for her to play.

I absolutely could not be prouder of my daughter. But, at the same time, I am not surprised. I have seen her play through injury and illness before. She is one of those kids that a coach hopes for.

I think we are aware that we weren't 10-running all the games last year. But we still got the job done. I think if we play good defense the offense will come.

It just shows how much we need her.
