I've seen too much of life to believe this is fair and just. What do you gain by taking somebody's life?

Clearly, we have been through a wintertime drought, with snow sampling stations essentially snow-free until mid-March, and the poor winter conditions leaving low stream flow volumes.

To make matters worse, we are beginning the new year with a moisture deficit in the high country.

At this point, only a dramatic and sustained shift in the weather will improve the outlook for snow in Arizona. If this dry condition persists much longer into the snow season, it will be difficult to catch up.

It was 1990 since that last occurred, and 1990 was a relatively dry year.

I've never seen anything like this. It's quite shocking to a lot of folks who depend on the snow. There could still be a miracle turnaround; don't underestimate Mother Nature. But the trend doesn't look good for us right now.
