I've put myself out there on a limb and I've posed a challenge to every opponent I'm playing each week, ... They all understand it's all in fun. It's entertaining for the outside world. But for us, it's serious. It's work.

The defense is playing ridiculous right now.

Somebody's got to pay for that loss and somebody's got to pay for that double team last week. It's sure not going to be me, and it's not going to be us. Whoever is in the way of our goals, whoever is in the way of us getting that W, has to pay.

I really like the challenge of those situations and hopefully I can keep on going, I want the team to feel confident when I go into the game that I can get the job done.

It felt really, really good to get the first batter out of the way. I really liked the challenge with a man on second, two outs in a one-run game. The last thing I wanted to do was let that guy score.
