I've never studied it out, but it's not hard to realize that more numerous tornadoes seem to occur in that stretch. There's a history of intense tornado activity through that area.

The berries are more numerous here, and some seem to be smaller than any we’ve ever seen. And interestingly, some don’t appear to be round. There's definitely a tornado alley through here. We're just not sure why.

We like to make our courses as hard as possible, but we realize we can't shut the course down for a couple weeks ahead of time like the PGA Tour. We think Quicksilver will be a good test for our players.

A lot of times these things do occur and we do not know about them, so it's important to report them, especially if it presents a danger to motorists.

Without sounding conceited about it, it was hard but it did not seem like such a huge leap, because I had done a lot of big films and been around enough talented directors to know what to do if I was in their position.
