I've heard so many women say that when they had a child it saved their life. I never understood that until recently.. but now I think it means that a child forced them to care for someone other than themselves. The dead sea is dead because so much flows into it and nothing flows out of it. Caring for someone else get's us out of ourselves, and reshapes our entire worldview.

What you see in these results is that helping women avoid unintended pregnancy is not just a blue-state issue.

We know that women who become depressed during pregnancy may not take appropriate care of themselves or even make it to prenatal appointments, and there is evidence that maternal depression itself has an adverse effect on fetal and neonatal well being. While this report does not offer explicit guidelines for individual patients, the study unequivocally suggests that women taking antidepressants who anticipate pregnancy need to address with their doctors not only potential risks to their babies if they continue taking the drugs but also the risk that their disease may recur if they stop antidepressants. Only by considering both sides of this risk/benefit equation can patients make informed decisions.

Before Jesus saved me, did I give a crap about the Bible? Nope. Some old book? Why would I? But once I was saved, I could not put it down. I was reading, listening, learning, studying, and it's still the same.. I can't put it down. It's such truth. It shines like a beacon above the din of lies, consumerism and foolishness that clouds the culture.

We know Christ Jesus was tempted in every way possible, and that he endured the pains of a human life without sin. This paid the debt that humanity incurred through it's endless disobedience of God. Our faiths will not be perfect, but let me encourage you to rise again when you fall. And if you can't seem to rise up out of the gloom in your head, or the mindset of sin going on, ask your loving Father for a hand up. We know he answers our prayers. Because he loves us truly.
