I've been telling the story for a long time about the significance of logistics and supply chain management in American industry. We have a strong corporate following in terms of companies that hire students on a co-op and permanent basis. To a certain extent, the new program is a reaction to the marketplace.

At that point, we will see how the market is evolving. We've always tried to structure classes to reflect what's going on in industry.

There's no question that the IT departments of companies are going to have to wait until senior management is comfortable with earnings.

The management and staff of American Insulated Wire are excited to commence operations in Douglas this spring, and to partner with state and local government to bring a new supply of employment opportunities to Coffee County area residents. Because I know they are in the top tier, I have a scorecard for those suppliers and top management meetings.

The year we opened Appalachian was a sizable jump, somewhere around 9 percent. It's an issue at our management meetings all the time. For us to be able to keep it at [4 percent]… we're pretty happy with that.
