I've been practicing and all that stuff, but I just haven't gotten into games.

You can practice all the time, but it's better to get into the games. It's always a little bit different. It's a little bit quicker in games than it is in practice.

I go online every day, even if it's just for five minutes. On Saturdays, I'm at my kids' games and I bring my homework with me at lunch time, I read over my material, that way it's easier when I come home from work.

It means a lot to win six games in a row. We can compete with the best teams in the league. I think we are a playoff hockey team. We proved over the last six games that we can play with anybody.

We've won a lot of games before, so you don't want to get really excited about a first win. But it's hard to not be excited when your first win comes 13 games into the season, after Christmas. This is what we want to use as a springboard as we get hot and heavy into conference play.

When you go into the back end of back-to-back games with eight players, it's tough.
