I've been playing since I was 16 or 17. When I was at Rutgers from '81 to '85, I was in a band called The Queues, which was pretty much a cross between J. Geils and Flock of Seagulls.

We get Rutgers students at our shows all the time. The Cabin is always a blast to play. It's a way to enjoy a hobby I love, and the band is really smoking. It's great to just see everybody get out there and dance.

We're semi-pro though, strictly part time. You have to budget your time. I have a job here at Rutgers that I love, and the band is a weekend-warrior kind of thing.

We're a party band. We do mostly covers we play anything from Aretha Franklin to Jackson Brown to Pink.

It's just kind of surreal. We're trying not to think too far ahead but we know we have a lot of work to do. We don't just want to go there and be seen. We want to go there and win it.
