I've always felt (acting) is the one thing I've done in my life that doesn't feel like work. Some people like to draw. Some people like to paint. My greatest satisfaction is performing in front of a crowd.

My life is so filled, so if I accept acting work now, it means I have to let somebody else do the job I want to do, which is raise my children. It's not that I'm retired, I just no longer accept acting work.

People were turning their sprinklers on in the morning,
going to work and (leaving) them on the whole day long,

There's a lot of energy behind it and a lot of people who want to make it work.

It all came together all at once. It's the same idea as calling Domino's and ordering a pizza. You call Wheatfield and we go do a performance. We come to you.

It's just a great way to spend retirement.
