It's so great to be able to participate in this meet at home. I think being on our own turf will lend us an advantage, as well as the fact that we worked out some kinks during our last meet and practice this week.

Amy helped me out so much during my first year here. She is my co-captain and an amazing leader for this team.

I don't want my seniors to be done here because I have grown so fond of them as gymnasts and individuals. They have shown incredible team leadership this season and will be a tough group for me to say good-bye to when the time comes.

Seeing them return home with winners medals around their necks capped a memorable month for the club.

It's so refreshing because it's very hard to even get scores. It's a home away from home.
