It's really unexpected how well my downhill is going. To be fifth in training in my first time ever doing downhill in St. Moriz, I'm really happy.

It took about 15 seconds for me to realize what happened and that was kind of a 'see you in 2010' moment for me. I know I kind of had it coming. I have been very fortunate with injuries in my career. It's just the timing that is very unfortunate.

While other people were off eating turkey I was hitting the slopes and improving my skiing. I made some major changes that have showed up right away.

There's no doubt we can walk a little taller right now. We know that it's going to be podium or bust at the Olympics so we have top three on our mind.

I'm not just going there for the sake of being there.

I just wasn't skiing quite right today. It's a very nice course and the snow is great. There are some big jumps here.
