It's pretty well-documented, the impact of big box retail on the local business community.

[When] you're in the business as long as I am, you see a little bit of everything. This is pretty weird though - what we've been through. I will say that. This is pretty weird. But we'll keep riding on this [win] and keep building.

So, now that this community is on the counties 'radar' they should began receiving assistance directly from the county pretty soon.

Being in a gated community, we feel pretty safe but not so safe anymore, I would advise everyone to keep their doors locked, which is not a bad thing to do, in this day and age.

That alone is a pretty good indicator of how important she was to the community.
