It's part of our heritage, part of our culture. The more we move into cities, the more cool we try to be, the more we miss the part of ourselves that's simple and country.

A culture, we all know, is made by its cities.

I see enough people wandering the streets as it is. If they can't keep this drive of construction and development, what are these people going to do? You just have to think about that. The Chinese are incredibly strong, they can take a lot more than any Canadian ever could. But I think there's a limit to all that, too.

In terms of the big cities of this country, New Orleans is clearly one of the cities with the most unique character, ... What's happened goes well beyond the devastation of one city - it's a national tragedy.

It's like night and day when you compare this to 9-11, when the national trauma was so severe that the media felt uncomfortable being too critical of the administration,

Today, if knowledge of a movie is out there for a while, it may increase its appeal. It builds up a mystique. Bad buzz can actually morph into anticipation.
