Bill represents the spirit of community leadership and involvement exemplified by Charles H. Flynn and the 33 previous winners of this prestigious award. We are very fortunate that he has been so willing to share his time and expertise with so many different groups in the Valley down through the years.

Before a community can prosper, the people must believe in their leaders. They must know that at the core of every decision is careful planning, hard work, and unbending integrity rather than partisanship or self-gain. They must trust that the awesome power of government is not being abused.

All three players have a lot of poise and are strong leaders. Matt and Shane are both Stoney Creek residents and while they had opportunities to play elsewhere this season, they both chose to stay and play for their hometown.
