It's one of my favorite things we do all year. It's fun, it's fresh, the kids like it and the parents get excited.

Youth art is from such a fresh perspective, and it's always the most unique stuff you'll see here all year.

We do this every year, and what we do is devote all of our gallery space exclusively to the display of youth art.

We let up a little bit, but it was fun to start with the other three seniors. We all played together for Svendsen as freshmen. That's the last time we started together.

You can take organic materials — leather, steel, wood and fabrics — and mix them in the right way. It's fun to go from something simple to something classic to something seasonal. It shows people the different aspects of who you are.
