It's not the kind of play where you clap. You appreciate it and absorb it.

You have to keep things covered and well-hidden, ... things you don't want him to get into.

It will be good to see him out there and doing what wild squirrels are supposed to do: being free out there, But there's a little sadness, too.

We have to play well as a team. If we play together and follow the game plan, we'll do fine. If we defer away from the game plan, then we'll struggle.

That kid right there is one of the smartest ballplayers I've ever been around. They ran the play three or four times and we kind of knew their options. They went off the pinch, and the kid just switched and stole the ball.

We're excited about this game. We're excited about the opportunity to play a team like Lemoore. Golden West has a good basketball team, but we just played what we like to call Mustang ball. We're a tough team to beat when we play like this.
