It's not that we're doing anything different or they're doing anything different. I think we've got pretty athletic kids. The bottom line is that the team with the most talent usually wins, and, right now, I think we can put more basketball talent on the floor.

They've played a lot of big ballgames, and until somebody beats them, they are the sectional champions from last year.

The early years were pretty rocky, there were a lot of fights, a lot of disagreements, some edginess, ... Gradually, I think, we came to really enjoy doing this show and really respect the other guy. In recent years there was a great deal of affection and friendship.

The Winter Haven Chain of Lakes is obviously going down pretty good, but it is about where it should be for this time of year.

It's going to be a very important year for (Johnson). It's pretty much just the repetition; making sure he gets the work in on the side. He's going to have some good days and some bad days. Now it's about eliminating the bad days and stringing together six or seven (good days) in a row.

The kids played really well and played incredibly hard tonight.
