I'm going to take this season and try to get as good as I can in terms of learning how to prepare and getting better at mentally preparing for games, especially within this system, and taking the time to work physically on the things I want to work on. I wanted to be part of this team. To me, that was the biggest part of the competition. It's going to be a great year.

Offensively we haven't done as well as we should have all year long. Coming down the stretch of this season, we're going to need to put some points on the board to help our defense.

It's possible (the team and the quarterbacks know), but . . . there's a chance both might play, ... (Tressel) might not have even made up his mind yet. If he hasn't said anything, there's a chance he hasn't even made up his mind yet.

This year, we have so many weapons offensively that we're only going to be as good as our ability to spread the ball around. In order to run the ball, we need to throw better. We need to hit a couple more of those deep balls.

Obviously, it's good to still be here. Now it's a matter of finding ways to contribute any way I can. I'll try to help Carson out whenever I can, and I get a chance to learn from Jon and Carson. I want to get better. This is what I do. I love to do it. I work as hard as I can, and I'm just fortunate.
