It's not a complete deal, such as moving to rooms. Our grant is allowing us to implement the academy, but not as fully as in the coming school year.

Ninth-graders have some discipline issues that, if not addressed, can grow into a large problem later on. We're trying to deal with them while they're still small issues.

We have between 350 to 400 freshmen but graduate only 180 to 200 seniors a year. We don't graduate more than 40 percent of our students.

It wouldn't be prudent for us to comment on this matter before the court has heard both sides.

Even though we finished fifth in the two distance events, it gave us the four points that we need to win. I don't think I could be more pleased with today's performance.

It's giving us added leverage to use in our discussions and negotiations, but it's not a foregone conclusion that it will be implemented.
