It's nice to have someone to talk to who knows you and knows the game and everything. Growing up, we played Little League and we were always on the same team. Our dads were always the coaches. We know each other as players pretty well.

It reminds me of Miami when I was growing up in the 1950s. They've got grocery stores that make a 7-Eleven look like a Wal-Mart.

When you're growing up and developing in this league and you're on a team like San Antonio, you're exposed to a lot. A lot of the things we did down in San Antonio was winning. And that's one of my main things I want to bring with me here ? is a winning attitude.
