It's making Plainview-Old Bethpage a more senior-friendly community to live in.

Community cannot for long feed on itself; it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond, their unknown and undiscovered brothers.

A whole community has been uprooted and huge parts of it destroyed. Add on top of that the disproportionate impact on the African-American population. So there is a tremendous amount of emotion about the issue.

There's a definitely a feeling in the Duke community that N.C. Central is the lesser institution, and I've heard Duke students make that statement. I don't think that's something we should ignore.

It's to provide an inexpensive night out on the town. The community coming together, that's really the reward for doing it for 17 years because it's not the pay.
