It's just like home down there [at Pitt]. It's like a home away from home. They treat me like family down there. That's what I like the most.

Pitt was a home away from home. I felt comfortable there. I've got a good relationship with all the people down there, the players and the coaches. I liked all the other schools, but Pitt was it.

It didn't really matter what position. I'm open to anything, but I want to mainly play wide receiver. The depth chart has a lot to do with it. I feel as though anywhere I went I'd be able to get some early playing time.

I credit my mom [Debbie] for creating a solid family base, ... She gave me a strong sense of reality so I could avoid falling into the normal pitfalls [of child actors].

I had been a huge fan because Focus on the Family values things I believe in. This was like a lifelong dream.
