It's just a blessing. You cherish one like this especially after coming up short the first three weeks of the season. Adversity reveals character. Starting 0-3 was bad enough, but our boys remained positive and worked hard. It would have been easy to quit but we didn't.

You can't take stretches of weeks off, especially coming out of the Indy 500, or you lose your momentum. TV promotes a week out. The IRL will be there when its season starts in April and ends at Labor Day.

We'll get a little reprieve from it with systems coming through every three or four weeks, but that's not going to cut it. We had a drought in the summer and it continued into the fall - Hurricane Rita did nothing to stop that - and we're in the winter now and still in a drought.

For the first three weeks, I was their mom. If I named them, then I would definitely keep them.

We expect the first raw results in about three weeks.

Mitch has been out for a week and has had mono for three weeks. He practiced (Wednesday) for the first time in over a week. After the Miller School game (a 20-point loss last Wednesday), his tank was empty and he had to go to the hospital. He came out (tonight) and played his heart out. He's the glue that holds the team together.
