It's important to so many people to have a voice for the school.

It was the first year here for him. I'd like to try and help my people, Hispanic people.

In this group, people try to help and let everybody know what [your rights are].

It's a good step and they should ask people who are constantly in touch with Latinos. I think they would be good sources to be in touch with and see what Latinos want.

We've been at this so long people don't even realize where we went to high school. All you're going to do (with this column) is put ideas in people's heads who've never thought about it.

It was shocking for a lot of people at our school.
