It's going to discourage kids from going out there and getting on their bicycles. If it's hot out there, they're not going to want to put on a helmet.

Used to, it was mostly college kids buying bicycles to get around campus. But now it's people who have been exposed to cycling through watching and reading about Lance who are taking up cycling. Some are into racing, but most do it for fitness and the social aspects.

Without this program, there is no doubt in my mind that many disabled children would not be riding bicycles. I am a rocket scientist, and I like to solve puzzles. And I know that if we can put a man on the moon and send a rocket to a distant planet, we can certainly get disabled children riding bikes without training wheels.
